Dr. Yanet Fernandez Cerda , LCMHC, LCAS, RPT, Director

Dr. Fernandez Cerda has been an owner/operator of mental health agencies in the Triangle since 2006. Dr. Fernandez Cerda has worked at mental health agencies in New York, as well as, North Carolina. She has a passion for providing services for those who otherwise may not receive, especially for the Latino community. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. She provides clinical supervision for mental health practitioners. She earned her PhD in Advance Study in Advance Studies in Human
Behavior.

Carolyn Cordasco

LCSW
Ms. Cordasco has been a mental health therapist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker for more than 35 years after receiving her degree from Boston University. She was a therapist in Germany and Kansas before moving to North Carolina. She has worked in 2 state prisons, in a military hospital, Cape Fear Medical Center psychiatric hospital, and residential treatment facilities. She moved to North Carolina to develop and administer NC Department of Corrections Sexual Offender Program called SOAR.
Ms. Cordasco has been a Clinical Director for a CABHA and other OPT agencies in North Carolina. She works with adults, adolescents, and children. She spent several years working with Special Operations service members and their families. She specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, play therapy, and school behaviors Her passion is creating trauma informed communities and working with children who are in marginalized communities.
Her expertise is in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Illness Management and Recovery, sexual offender treatment, play therapy and sand tray, and Trauma Informed-CBT. She provides training and workshops in parenting skills, helping your child regulate, and trauma and child abuse prevention.
